The Gateway to Quranic Literacy

Noorani Qaida (or the Shia-preferred Yassarnal Quran) is the foundational starting point for any student. Before you can recite the magnificent verses of the Holy Quran, you must master the Arabic script. This course provides that mastery systematically and beautifully.

Designed by scholars aligned with Shia Islamic traditions, our curriculum takes students step-by-step from recognizing raw letters to connecting them into words, applying vowels, and finally reading short Surahs fluently.

Who Is This Course For?

Children (4-14) beginning Arabic.
Adult converts to Islam.
Adults who never learned Arabic.
Students struggling to read fluently.

Course Curriculum

01

Individual Letters & Makharij

Master the 28 Arabic letters in isolation. We focus strictly on the correct pronunciation (Makharij) from the very first day so bad habits are never formed.

02

Vowels (Harakaat)

Learn the Zabar (Fatha), Zer (Kasrah), and Pesh (Dhamma). By this stage, you will be able to read any fully vowelised short Arabic word.

03

Joined Letters & Forms

Understand how Arabic script works cursively: the beginning, middle, and end shapes of every letter when they connect to form words.

04

Tanwin, Sukoon & Madd

Tackle double vowels, silent letters (Sukoon), and elongation marks. These are the critical building blocks for accurate and beautiful recitation.

05

Short Surahs

Apply everything you've learned to read complete short Surahs from Juz 30 (like Al-Fatiha, Al-Ikhlas) with total confidence and independence.
